REJOICE!  It’s Christmas time once again! Each one of us is so busy for the preparation of this season truly captivated everyone who waits for His coming into our hearts. This will the coming of the most awaited gift wrapped with kindness and generosity. We are all anticipating for the coming of Someone very special. “And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased” (Luke 2:13-14). The spirit of be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger” (Luke 2:12).


The star in the sky shines so brilliantly and lighted up His way. What are your preparations for His coming? Is it buying gifts for the family and significant others? It is through an extravagant party and social gatherings? Or it might be through some expensive and trendy decors. We all know that Christmas nowadays, is too much driven by commercialization.


How about those who couldn’t afford to buy even a single meal on Christmas day? Christmas means sharing the blessings that God has given us for the whole year round. It is also a time for recollection and thanksgiving. It is the best time to heal wounds and renewal of oneself. Whatever you can share this Christmas make it truly lasting and memorable. Jesus is our Manger’s Jewel. He came into this world to save us despite of His kingship. He humbled Himself and took the place of a servant and born in a lowly manger.


Let us not forget that the true essence of Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’ birthday.  Like a child in the manger let us become a real jewel that sparks in the dark and shoddy corners of this world. Spread goodness, share your presents, loved the unlovable and peace will reign in this season of joy. It is by giving that the kindness and overflowing grace of the God flows into our life unceasingly. Let us welcome Jesus in the mangers of our hearts this Yuletide season.
